“We are delighted to have signed a contract with a talented artist. We will provide full support so that Bang Ye-dam can become a musician active in various fields, including producer and singer," said the agency.
Bang Ye-dam debuted in Treasure in August 2020. However, he left the group in November 2022.
In an announcement on Nov. 8 last year, YG Entertainment said Bang Ye-dam and Mashiho were no longer members of Treasure.
“After a long and careful discussion with Mashiho and Bang Ye-dam, [it] was mutually agreed to conclude the contracts between the two and YG Entertainment. We have reached such agreement so that Mashiho could have enough time to recover from his health condition, and Bang Ye dam could pursue his career as a producer,” the agency said.
Bang Ye-dam took to Instagram to announce his new agency.
“I have joined a new company, GF Entertainment. Thank you to all the Treasure Makers who have supported me since Treasure's activities,” he wrote.
He added, “I am also very grateful to YG Entertainment for allowing me to grow into who I am today. I will be active in various ways in the future, so please keep an eye on it.”
