Cebu-based firm bags two int'l architecture awards

Its project bested more than 1,000 contenders!

Cebu-based ArchiGlobal Inc. has achieved international acclaim, securing two prestigious awards at the 2023 Asia Architecture Design Awards (AADA). The firm's achievements include being named the "2023 Best Architecture Design Firm" and receiving recognition for the "Best Commercial Building Architecture Design."

Set against the backdrop of Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, under the theme "Impactful Asia," ArchiGlobal Inc. emerged victorious from a competitive pool of over 1,000 participants.

One of ArchiGlobal's submissions in the category of commercial building architecture design was the Tops Redevelopment, more famously known as the "Top of Cebu." Spanning three hectares, this site has been designed as a commercial hub seamlessly integrated with recreational and hospitality spaces.

What sets this award-winning design apart is its ability to provide a panoramic 360-degree view of the Cebu metropolis, the Bohol Sea, the Mactan Channel along with its adjacent islands, and the province's watershed mountains to the east.

AADA acknowledged the firm's expertise in mid-density residential communities, commercial, and mixed-use developments. "With a strong emphasis on sustainability, people-centric design, and community relevance, ArchiGlobal has become a game-changer in the field of architecture."

In response to the victory, ArchiGlobal said, "(Our) dual triumph at the Asia Architecture Design Awards underscores the company's unwavering dedication to becoming a premier design firm, consistently delivering unparalleled creativity and expertise to its esteemed clients."
