P3.4-M shabu seized from couple in Maguindanao del Norte

COTABATO CITY – A couple was arrested and seized from them was more than half a kilo of suspected shabu worth P3.4 million in a buy-bust operation on Tuesday, August 22, in Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte.

Christian Frivaldo, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency- Bangsamoro Autonomous Region chief, identified the suspects as Saidamin Laguiamuda, 25, and his wife, Samera Bangon Osmena, 37, residents of Guindulungan, Maguindanao del Sur.

The couple was tagged as bigtime drug pushers operating in Maguindanao, Cotabato City, General Santos City, and Davao City.  

Seized from the suspects were 510 grams of shabu worth P3.4 million, one 9mm Glock pistol, and a Suzuki minivan.

They are considered recidivist drug offenders who were arrested for drug trafficking in 2019 but were released from detention after posting bail.
