Members of the Las Piñas City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) conducted an urban landscaping operation in four areas of the city on Tuesday, Aug. 22.

Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the CENRO team held the activities in Evacom Landscape, Zapote Landscape, Lying-in and Saging Landscape, and at the Traffic and Paking Management Office (TPMO) Landscape.
The activity aimed to keep the environment beautiful, clean and healthy.
She said the city government initiated the planting of trees and landscaping in open areas, as well as in major thoroughfares to give a greener feel to the city spaces.
The mayor also said the city is one of the highly urbanized cities with deep respect to the environment.
