A sparkling and fun celebration began as Angel Leighton gathered her friends, family, and co-actors to celebrate her 21st birthday at the AVIRE Tower in Quezon City last Aug. 11.

During an exclusive interview, Angel shared her one wish for her birthday.

"Ang wish ko lang talaga ngayon is maging masaya kasi ang hirap maging masaya para sa akin kasi syempre sa work, alam mo na family issues and personal issues, so ang number wish ko talaga is to be happy."

(My only wish right now is to be happy because it's hard for me to be happy as of now, because of work, family issues, and personal issues. So my number one wish for now is to be happy)

Aside from her personal wish, the actress prayed to give her family the life they deserve.

"Iba yung pangrap ko para sa family ko, kung ano man yung nararanasan ko ngayon, gusto ko ganun din yung maranasan nila kasi sobrang close ko sa mga kapatid kaya gusto ko ishare yung blessing na meron ako ngayon," she said.

( have a different dream for my family, whatever I am experiencing now, I want them to experience the same because I am very close to my brothers and sisters so I want to share the blessing that I have now)

Asked about her love life, Angel stated that she is currently prioritizing her career and not seeking a romantic partner.

"Wala po akong boyfriend sa ngayon, and gusto ko po muna magfocus sa career ko and ayoko po muna masaktan," she said.

(I don't have a boyfriend right now, and I want to focus on my career first and besides I don't want to get hurt)

Also present during the celebration was Beauty Gonzales who is also her co-star on the GMA series "Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis" and co-Sparkle artists.

"Naging malapit kaming dalawa kasi nagkawork kaming dalawa sa teleserye ko ngayon, and another thing na nakakatuwa kasi pareho kaming bisaya,and super happy din ako kasi nainvite ako to be here," Beauty said.

She also gave Angel a sweet and short birthday message. "Well, I wish her to continuously be happy and of course, if she's happy, her true friends will be happy for her."
