CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija – Police arrested six wanted persons in this province on Tuesday, August 22.
Police Col. Richard V. Caballero, Nueva Ecija police chief, said that these wanted persons were nabbed in separate “Manhunt Charlie” operations.
Suspects who are now under the custody of operating units have cases for violating city and municipal ordinances, Batas Pambansa 22 or the Bouncing Checks law, falsification of public documents, and qualified theft.
Meanwhile, police arrested three person for playing “tong-its,” an illegal cards game, in Barangay Santo Tomas Feria, Quezon, Nueva Ecija.
Seized from them were playing cards and bet money amounting to P779.
Suspects will be charged for violation of Presidential Decree 1602 or the anti-illegal gambling law.
