Thai parliament begins voting for new PM

BANGKOK, Thailand– Thai lawmakers began voting Tuesday on whether to approve business tycoon Srettha Thavisin as the kingdom's new prime minister.

Srettha was nominated by the Pheu Thai party at the head of a multi-party coalition expected to win enough votes across both houses to get him elected.
