BEIJING, China– A North Korean-owned passenger plane was on the way to the Chinese capital on Tuesday, multiple tracking websites showed.
It is state airline Air Koryo's first commercial flight since early 2020, after North Korea shut its borders in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Flight JS151 took off from the North Korean capital around 08:30 am local time (2330 GMT), Flightradar and Chinese tracking app Umetrip showed.
It is due to land at Beijing's Capital Airport at 09:11 am China time, the airport's website said.
A previously scheduled Air Koryo flight to Beijing on Monday was abruptly cancelled, with no official reason given.
