6 communist supporters surrender

Six members of the Alyansa ng Mamamayang Nagkakaisa (ALMANA) have withdrawn support to the communist movement and denounced violence in Nueva Ecija. 

Police Col. Richard V. Caballero, Nueva Ecija police chief, said that they surrendered to the Nueva Ecija 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) in Barangay Calabasa, Gabaldon on Monday. 

The surrenderers are now undergoing debriefing and have already food packs.

They may also avail of other assistance under the Enhance Comprehensive Local Integration Program.  

“This undertaking would certainly neglect the influence and control of the CPP-NPA-NDF over their remaining supporters and shall create a perfect time for the other leftists to return to the government’s side,” Caballero said.
