Mayor Eric joins SK convention, peace covenant signing during 'Linggo ng Kabataan'

Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez joined the recent Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Convention and Peace Covenant signing held at the Parañaque City Sports Complex.
Olivarez said the activity was part of the city government's support to the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation under the leadership of Hannah Florencondia in celebration of “Linggo ng Kabataan.”
He said the convention aimed to highlight the important role of the Sangguniang Kabataan to the community and establish good relationship and camaraderie among aspiring SK leaders in the city’s 16 barangays.
The mayor also advised the aspiring SK leaders to work hard and know their responsibilities once elected.
Olivarez added that elected SK leaders should set a good example to all the youths in the city, especially in their community.
He also urged them to promote the existing programs that will benefit the youth and come up with new projects and activities that will help improve the quality of life of young residents.
The mayor also congratulated those aspiring for a seat at the SK and thanked the SK Federation for coming up with convention and peace covenant projects that will help build good relationship and camaraderie among the city's youth.
