Antipolo LGU holds one-stop-shop caravan

The Antipolo City local government held on Monday, Aug. 21, a one-stop-shop caravan in one of its barangays as part of its efforts in bringing quality government services to its residents, paticularly those living in far-flung areas.

The city government offered various services such as:

Officials from Panasonic Philippines and Shining Light Foundation, Inc. also participated in the caravan and provided 150 solar lamps to 150 Dumagat families living in Barangay Calawis as part of the Efforts to Light Up the Future program. Actor and musician Gary Valenciano, who is also an Antipolenyo, provided entertainment to the residents.

"Maliban sa malaking tulong ito lalo na sa mga estudyanteng nagsusunog ng kilay sa pag-aaral, malaking tipid din ito para kina nanay at tatay dahil sikat lamang ng araw ang pang-charge dito kaya tiyak na matutuwa rin si Inang Kalikasan (Aside from being a big help for students who are very diligent in studying, this will also help their parents save money in electricity because the lamps only need to be charged through sunlight. This brings a positive effect in preserving our Mother Earth)," Antipolo City Mayor Jun Ynares said.
