Fire hits ‘lechon manok’ store in Muntinlupa

A fire razed a branch of a popular lechon manok store in Barangay Bayanan, Muntinlupa on Aug. 22. 

A post by the Muntinlupa City Department of Disaster Resilience and Management stated that the fire hit the Baliwag Lechon Manok branch on National Road in Bayanan.

According to the Muntinlupa City Fire Station, the fire started at about 3:25 a.m. at No. 237 National Road owned by Florante Dolleton and two other people. 

The first alarm was raised at 3:25 a.m. before the fire was put under control at 4:26 a.m. and was put out at 4:46 a.m. 

The blaze damaged P720,000 worth of properties and affected three families. No one was injured in the fire. The fire station is investigating the origin and cause of the blaze. 

A total of 13 fire trucks and three ambulances responded to the scene. The fire caused heavy traffic along the National Road.
