Dingdong Dantes to daughter Zia: The importance of focus and determinations

Actor and proud dad Dingdong Dantes penned a heartfelt message on his Instagram, expressing his pride and admiration for Zia's progress in swimming. 

Despite being sleep-deprived due to his late-night taping for the show Royal Blood, Dingdong made sure to capture Zia's dive beautifully. "My dearest Letizia, these photos were taken during your practice last week-one of the final sessions before today's 13th Speedo Jumpstart Novice Carnival." 

"With only about 4 hours of sleep (since the Royal Blood taping ended quite late the night before), I was a bit shaky while attempting to capture this dive of yours. Thank God it came out very clear—for our remembrance," Dingdong recalled.

He also apologizes for not being able to attend an important competition due to work commitments but assures his daughter of his unwavering support.

"As I embark on my trip to Davao for work, where I'll have the opportunity to express gratitude to our Davaoenos for their unwavering support of our show, Royal Blood, I'll unfortunately miss a significant portion of this crucial competition," Dingdong wrote, adding, "Please understand that regardless of the outcome, I am already incredibly proud of the dedication, passion, and enthusiasm you bring to this sport."

Dingdong also encouraged Zia to acknowledge her mother, Marian, for her constant support and guidance. He recognized Marian as not only his lucky charm but also Zia's. 

"Of course, remember to extend your gratitude to your Mama for her constant support and guidance. Just as she has been for me, she undoubtedly serves as your lucky charm as well."

He reminded Zia on the importance of giving it all. "In the pool, as in life, every stroke you take not only propels you forward but also reflects your commitment and resilience. Embrace the water's hold, for within its depths, you discover your true strength. Keep pushing, keep swimming, and let the currents of determination guide you to greatness."

Marian posted an update of the competition, "Speechless and proud of you, Zia! Being awarded the most outstanding swimmer at the Speedo Jumpstart Novice Swim Carnival is a testament to your hard work and dedication. Watching you grow from the beginning till now fills Mama’s heart with pride. Keep giving your best, guided by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ."
