Construction worker yields P136,000 shabu

BACOLOD CITY – Police arrested a construction worker and seized 20 grams of suspected shabu worth P136,000 in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Villamonte here on Friday, August 18.

The suspect was identified as Jose Godinez, 39, of Barangay Estefania here.

Also recovered from him were the P500 marked money and P470.

Police Major Joery Puerto, head of Police Station 5, said the suspect was previously arrested for a drug offense and was released from jail six months ago through plea bargaining.

He is a street-level individual, according to the police.
