One of his most significant projects is 'Rocketman'

Kit played the role of the teenage version of Elton John in the biopic film “Rocketman,” which starred Taron Egerton as the adult version of the star. He learned to play basic piano and trained his singing for the role. He also performed Elton’s 2001 song “I Want Love” in the movie.

He has done voice acting

Kit voices the creature Pantalaimon, also known as Pan, in the BBC series “His Dark Materials.” Pantalaimon is the demon of the main character, Lyra Belacqua (Dafne Keen), that can change its form into any animal. The series is adapted from Philip Pullman’s “His Dark Materials” fantasy novels, which feature the story of a girl who wants to liberate herself from a theocratic government.

He auditioned for the role of Charlie Spring in 'Heartstopper'

Yes, you read that right. Kit, who looks exactly like the comic version of Nick, initially wanted the role of Charlie. Even though he felt that he had no chance, he could not resist auditioning for the part because of the character’s strong writing. His breakthrough role as Nick won him his first Emmy as “Outstanding Lead Performance” the first-ever Children’s and Family Emmy Awards.

He's a bisexual

On Nov. 1, 2022, Kit publicly announced his sexuality on Twitter. He wrote: “Back for a minute. I’m bi. Congrats for forcing an 18 year old to out himself. I think some of you missed the point of the show. Bye.” He was relentlessly questioned on social media regarding his sexuality. Fans speculated that he was queerbaiting when photos of him holding hands with Maia Reficco, his co-star in “A Cuban Girl’s Guide to Tea and Tomorrow,” emerged.
