Even though she's a single parent now, Ultimate Performer Vina Morales remains hopeful about the prospect of marriage and finding her perfect match.
"Darating ba ako dyan? Yan ang tanong! That's what I've been praying for. That's my prayer. At kung mangyari yun, bucket list. Another check. That's sa love life naman," said Vina, when asked if she still believes in marriage, during an appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on GMA Network last Aug. 18.
(Will I get there? That's the question! That's what I've been praying for. That's my prayer. And if that happens, bucket list. Another check. That's in love life.)
Vina added: "Now I'm just taking it easy. In God's time. In God's perfect time. I always believe there's someone out there for me. The right one. Ayoko ng ipilit. I still believe in marriage. For me, that's God's blessing."
She has a daughter Ceana, 14, who is all grown up now.
"I'm just thankful that I try my best to raise her to be a good person. Sa nakikita ko mukhang tama naman yung ginagawa ko.

"Parang meron kasi tinatanong siya ng mga tao. Siana do you want to be in show business? Hmm maybe. Yung ganun! So may possibility Magaling siya kumanta. She doesn't say no. For me, as a mom, yan yung mga na-miss ko sa buhay, na finishing school. Kasi I was so busy. I was eight years old kumakanta na ako. I was working professionally.
"So para sa akin gusto ko muna mag-aral muna siya. But then kung may hilig hindi mo ma-stop. Katulad ko hindi ako na-stop ng parents ko. They were there to support me so I'll do the same thing for my daughter. Si Shaina nga biglang nag-artista, bata pa lang," Vina said.
On realizations during the pandemic, Vina said: "Ang daming realizations during the pandemic. On a personal level, I realized life is short. I chose to forgive, and I chose to be more kind. Be more compassionate. Just be thankful for the present. Hindi ko na iniisip young future kasi anytime it can be taken away from you. I'm just enjoying the present right now.
"Sa career naman, I'm just thankful that many doors are coming in. Maybe I'm just thankful and grateful so blessings are coming in. Yung pagmamahal ko sa trabaho ko mas naa-appreciate ko yung mga taong nakatrabaho ko.
"Na-appreciate ko yung talent na binigay sa akin ng Diyos. I'm really trying to learn more. Open to an opportunities," she said.
