Parañaque LGU orients 4Ps beneficiaries on PhilHealth benefits

The Parañaque city government conducted an orientation for 300 members of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) on the importance and benefits of the PhilHealth program.

Olivarez attended the orientation themed “Alamin at Gamitin para sa Maayos na Buhay: Alaga ka ng PhilHealth” at the Don Bosco covered court.

He said the 300 4Ps members were from Barangays Don Bosco, Sun Valley, Moonwalk, and Marcelo Green.

Among the topics covered in the orientation were procedures to become a member of Philhealth and the benefits the families can avail of in cases of emergency or hospitalization.

Olivarez said the program is a project of PhilHealth, and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in coordination with the city government through City Health Office under Dr. Olga Virtusio and Parañaque Health Plan Office led by Dr. Ma. Loreleigh Obed.
