Netizens wondered if Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero is ready to make a splash in the fashion scene after appearing on his wife's Instagram during Paris Fashion Week.

Fans can't help but call the senator "Voguish" as he attends his wife's glamorous events during fashion week, wearing designer clothes and posing for elegant photos.

Chiz's new appearance garnered mixed reactions, with some pleased by his transformation photos, while others voiced their disagreement, particularly regarding his eyebrows.

During a Zoom interview on Headstart with Karen Davila, Senator Chiz gave his reaction and clarified that he was just there to support his wife.

"I am not part of fashion week. Ako lang yung alalay sa likod ng asawa ko tuwing may fashion week at libre at bakante ako,” Chiz said.

(I am not part of fashion week. I'm just my wife's assistant whenever there's a fashion week, and I'm free and available)

He also revealed that during their stay in Paris, he'd been the one cooking, cleaning, doing the laundry, and even sewing his wife's clothes.

"Ako yung tagalaba, tagaluto, tagalinis, tagatahi kapag may kailangan tahiin. Minsan lang uma-aura aura pero hindi palagi yun. Nakukumbinsi lang at napipilit," he said.

(I do the laundry, cooking, cleaning, and sewing when something needs to be sewn. I only occasionally dress up, but that's not very often. I've just been persuaded to do it)

When it comes to embracing the new look, Chiz pointed out: "Tumatanda tayo  (We're getting old), and our objective should be longevity. Not really to look good but more to be healthy and to preserve and have longevity. Longevity should be the objective." 

In an Instagram post, Heart expressed gratitude towards her husband for his efforts to understand and be a part of her world.

"Thank you for all the support you gave 🥹🤍 for being the leader of the pack, for protecting me, and taking care of all of us this fashion week :) Thank you for loving UNCONDITIONALLY. You are indeed the best, now fashion week will never be the same without you," Heart wrote on her post.
