50 Cordillera cops complete community affairs course


CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Fifty police officers from the Police Regional Office-Cordillera successfully completed the Police Community Affairs and Development Course (PCADC) from June 9 to August 18.

They received their certificates of completion in a closing ceremony at Maringal Hall in this camp graced by Police Brig. Gen. David Peredo Jr., PRO-Cordillera director, and Police Brig. Gen. Patrick Allan, deputy regional director for administration (DRDA).

Three members were given Philippine National Police medals for their outstanding performance during the course – Police Corporal Roxanne Dekdeken (95.6 percent), Medalya ng Kasanayan; Police Staff Sgt. Mary Ann Pardo (95.2 percent), Medalya ng Papuri, and Police Master Sgt. Zsarina Lei Sabado, (95.1 percent), Medalya ng Papuri.

Certificates of commendation were given to Police Executive Master Sgt. Lea Dimas, class marcher, and Police Master Sgt. Clarence Onanat, class president.

The PCADC training aims to continuously equip police personnel with appropriate skills in implementing police community-related programs.

Peredo congratulated the participants for completing the 45-day course and encouraged them to apply and share the expertise and wisdom they have gained from the training as they go back to their units.  

"Indeed, this course is very significant to all the PNP personnel, for it aims towards the integration of community groups and police organizations into partnerships focused on combating both criminal and social problems," Peredo added.
