The World Food Expo (WOFEX), opened on August 2, 2023 with booths in the World Trade Center and SMX Convention Center.
Now in its 23rd year, WOFEX continues to showcase ingredients, materials, supplies, equipment, services, and more for the food and beverage industry.
They will also hold learning sessions, demonstrations, and food experiences. A free shuttle service is provided between venues.

One of the booths at WOFEX 2023 is the Slow Food Philippines, a chapter of Slow Food International, which preserves and promotes biodiversity, food heritage, and gastronomy.
“WOFEX is the best platform for our small farmers, because we are far away and not all chefs have the time to visit their farms; it brings the farm to them,” The Fatted Calf’s Chef Rhea SyCip, Community President of Slow Food Cavite, said. Chef Rhea added that WOFEX is a perfect venue since people from their industry will be at this expo and they can directly talk to the farmers. “Hopefully they will appreciate these local products and see the value of getting direct products from the farmers,” Chef Rhea added.

WOFEX 2023 offers free demonstration featuring coffee, tea, cocktails, and many more on the Beverage Stage. There will also be free culinary and baking sessions in the Kitchen Theatre presented by renowned chefs and industry experts sharing recipes, techniques, and tips. The Global Chefs Challenge Semi-Finals Asia and The Philippine Culinary Cup, judged by the finest chefs around Asia, will be also be concluded during this event.
WOFEX 2023 runs from August 2, 2023, to August 5, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
