UPV graduate tops July 2023 licensure exam for environmental planners


A University of the Philippines Visayas-Iloilo graduate topped the list of those who passed the July 2023 licensure examination for environmental planners.

With an average of 82.45 percent, Janine Montalban Tabares topped 115 out of 166 passers, based on the list of those who passed the environmental planners’ board examination released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Aug. 1.

In second and third place, respectively, were UP Los Baños students Frann Christian Regino Serrano (81.55) and Alexisse Diarra Gucilatar Pablico (80.10).

The examination took place in Metro Manila, Cebu, and Davao.

PRC said passers may register online for their Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration on Sept. 18 to 19. 

Passers can view the instructions for registration at prc.gov.ph.

Furthermore, the requirements for registration include a downloaded duly accomplished oath form or “Panunumpa ng Propesyonal,” notice of admission, two pieces of passport-sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), two sets of documentary stamps, and a short brown envelope.

PRC said the date and venue of the environmental planner inductees’ oathtaking will be announced soon. (Sonny Daanoy)
