Philippine Airlines (PAL) has opened a new 114-seater Mabuhay Lounge for premium class passengers at the ground level of the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MIAC).

"This is part of our commitment to build up Mactan-Cebu as our fastest growing hub – the heart of a robust network of PAL flights linking Cebu with 19 domestic and regional destinations," remarked PAL President and Chief Operating Officer Capt. Stanley K. Ng.

The new lounge allows Business Class and Comfort Class passengers and Mabuhay Miles Elite, Premier Elite and Million Miler members to relax and recharge while waiting for their flights.

Designed by Adrian T. Chua Architects and Associates in collaboration with PAL, MIAC's Mabuhay Lounge is a fusion of modern Filipino interiors, showcasing the flag carrier’s signature blue color.

The seating area provides comfort with lounging chairs and spacious layout. Private charging outlets and Wi-Fi connectivity are available for passenger convenience.

The dining area features table arrangements and a buffet station.

VIP shower rooms as well as segregated male, female and Persons With Disability (PWD) rest rooms are equipped with the full range of amenities.

"The Mabuhay Lounge serves as a sanctuary of tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of travel," according to Captain Ng.

The flag carrier is the country's only full-service network airline, as well as the first commercial airline in Asia.

PAL's fleet of Boeing, Airbus, and De Havilland aircraft operate out of hubs in Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Davao to 32 destinations in the Philippines and 39 destinations in Asia, North America, Australia, and the Middle East.
