Man wanted for carnapping nabbed in General Trias

CAVITE – Authorities collared a man wanted for carnapping in General Trias City on Tuesday, August 1.

The Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the accused as Jobert L. Cabando, one of Cavite’s top 10 most wanted persons.

Cabando was arrested by virtue of an arrest warrant for violating the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016 issued by Regional Trial Court, Fourth Judicial Region, Branch 130 in Trece Martires City, with a recommended bail of P300,000.

The suspect is now under the custody of General Trias City Police Station (CPS).

In a statement, Cavite PPO Director Col. Christopher F. Olazo commended the police operatives for their efforts to hunt down people with existing warrants of arrest.
