Sharon Cuneta on dealing with complimentary ticket requests

Megastar Sharon Cuneta is currently preparing for an upcoming concert alongside her former spouse, Gabby Concepcion.

However, a few weeks before the actual gig, Sharon shared some concerns on social media.

No, it's not that she's worried as to how she would fare as performer -- she is bothered by the constant requests for free tickets.

She said, "Tuwing magkakaconcert ako, pinakasumasakit ang ulo ko hindi sa gagawin ko sa show, kundi sa dami ng humihinging Complimentary o libreng tickets!"

Sharon explained that she only has a limited number of these available.

She also confessed that this particular concert has been the most challenging in terms of ticket distribution, stating, "At sa totoo lang, itong concert na ito ang pinakanagpasakit sa ulo ko!"

Sharon intimated that when her friends like Regine Velasquez and Gary Valenciano have concerts, she shows her support by actually purchasing tickets.

She then expressed her gratitude to friends and family who willingly bought tickets.

"Sa totoo lang po, ang aga naubos ng complimentary tickets ko! Pag ako pa bumili baka si Gabby na lang ang kumanta dahil mauubos ang sueldo ko sa kakalibre (alam po namin di biro ang prices kasi po malaki ang production costs!)," she stressed. "Pasensya na po at nagtatrabaho lang ang girl nyo! Kung puede lang ilibre ko lahat kayo pero siempre di ko kaya. Thanks so much for understanding. Love you all!"

The show, titled "Dear Heart, The Concert," is to happen on October 27 at SM MOA Arena, with ticket prices ranging from ₱1,200 to ₱18,500.

The seating categories are named after projects the Sharon and Gabby have worked on together, such as "In Life Dear Heart," "P. S. I Love You," "Bingo Plus My Only Love," "Tayong Dalawa," "Una Kang Naging Akin," and "Bakit Ikaw Pa Rin."

The concert is the first full collaborative performance of the two in years.
