No. 1 most wanted in Western Visayas nabbed

ILOILO CITY – Police nabbed the No. 1 most wanted person in Western Visayas in Maayon, Capiz on Saturday, August 19.

The suspect was identified as Jerecho Dogelio Derramas, a 21-year-old laborer and resident of Barangay Alayunan, Maayon.

Derramas, wanted for qualified rape, was arrested through a warrant issued by Judge Eric Anthony A. Dumpilo of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 14 in Roxas City.

The Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 lauded the arrest of the suspect.

“I thank our dedicated police operatives for arresting the Top 1 Regional Most Wanted Person,” said Police Brig. Gen. Sidney Villaflor, PRO-6 director.
