The Filipina tennis star is still on a roll to clinch back-to-back titles this year after winning the W25 Roehampton last week.
Eala, who jumped straight to a revealing 5-1 lead in the opening set, also held a 40-30 advantage in Game 6 and fired a service ace to sink Defalco further.
In the second set, the American took the first game but the Filipina managed to immediately level it at 1-1 en route to a similar 5-1 lead.
Despite Defalco’s attempt to fight back and stall Eala’s dominance by winning the next game, 5-2, the 2022 US Open girls champion remained poised and took the victory.
The 18-year-old Filipina is two wins away from claiming the $25,000 ITF event crown when she takes on local bet Katy Dunne on Saturday, Aug. 19 (Manila time).
Eala also made it to the semifinal round of the doubles event after teaming up with Polish partner Urzula Radwanska, but crashed out of contention at the hands of Japanese pair Saki Imamura and Erina Hayashi.
