3 drug pushers busted in Baguio, Kalinga

BAGUIO CITY – Suspected shabu worth P80,512 was seized and three drug pushers were nabbed in buy-bust operations here and the province of Kalinga on August 17.

Police identified the suspects as Alvin Abena Orbase, 28, a street-level individual (SLI); Ronald Fortin Quinto, 32, also an SLI; and Virgilio Cruz Rosadiño, 53, a high-value individual (HVI).

Orbase was nabbed in this city after he sold one sachet of shabu weighing about 0.6 grams and valued at P4,080 to a poseur-buyer.

Quinto yielded two sachets worth weighing more than one gram worth a total of P8,400.

Rosadiño was arrested in Kalinga and recovered from him were two sachets of shabu valued at P68,000.

Suspects and pieces of evidence are in the custody of apprehending units. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 are being prepared against them.
