1,000 BRO-Ed scholars receive P10,000 stipend


One-thousand Bojie-Rodito Opportunities for Education (BRO-Ed) scholars from Jones and San Agustin, Isabela received educational allowance and rice amounting to P3 million on August 17. 

Isabela Gov. Rodito T. Albano III said that the provincial government aims to help the children of Isabeleño farmers by providing programs geared toward their future. 

Albano pledged to create a support fund for pineapple farmers in Jones and San Agustin to enable them to establish their own factory.

Isabela Vice Gov. Faustino "Bojie" G. Dy III said that the provincial government has been creating programs to help and support Isabeleño youth since 2010.

Seventy-one tobacco farmers from the two municipalities also received their farmer’s ID and P25,000 financial assistance each.
