PRC sets virtual oathtaking of new electrical engineers, registered master electricians
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Friday, Aug. 18, said the online oathtaking of new professional electrical engineers, registered electrical engineers, and registered master electricians will be conducted on Aug. 25.

To be facilitated by PRC-Cebu, the virtual oathtaking ceremony will start at 1 p.m. via Zoom.
To register, attendees must secure an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph, then select "e-OATH."
PRC reminded those who will take their oath to register before the deadline or five calendar days prior to the virtual ceremony.
Meanwhile, inductees must wear formal or business attire and use a white backdrop (white physical or virtual background) upon attending the virtual ceremony.
Similar to in-person oathtaking, passers must also print the "Oath of Professional” form, which is downloadable from the PRC official website under PRC Online Services.
For the "step-by-step procedure," PRC suggested attendees to check the "online oathtaking application system: https://www.prc.gov.ph/.../online-oathtaking.../4532." (Sonny Daanoy)
