A bettor from San Miguel in Bohol won the P18.6 million Lotto 6/42 jackpot, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said on Friday, Aug. 18.

PCSO said the bettor correctly guessed the 27-10-36-09-22-07 winning number combination during the Aug. 17 draw.

Meanwhile, PCSO noted that since the jackpot prize exceeded P10,000, it will be subject to a 20 percent tax deduction under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law.
It added that if the prize remains unclaimed within one year, it will be forfeited to the PCSO Charity Fund under Republic Act 1169 or the PCSO Charter.
The next Lotto 6/42 draw will be on Aug. 19. (Sonny Daanoy)
