The Pasig City Police Station (CPS) and AMA Computer College (AMACC) Pasig joined forces to deliver more livelihood opportunities and outreach programs for communities within the city.

The Pasig Station Community Affairs and Development Section (SCADS) Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Cpt. Resel E. Guevarra, and AMACC Pasig Academic Coordinator and Dean Engr. Lunie Mae Bangsara were among the signatories.

The partnership seeks to strengthen the relationship between the Pasig police and the private higher educational institution (HEI) in implementing community engagement activities across the city.

It also aims to serve as a starting point for the college and the police to launch initiatives that are focused on introducing and developing livelihood skills for inmates.

The signing ceremony was followed by an outreach activity where representatives from AMACC were able to meet and talk with some individuals housed in the city police’s custodial facility. Personnel from SCADS facilitated and oversaw the activity.

In a bid to develop its community-focused initiatives, the Pasig CPS has previously partnered with organizations such as the Police Revitalized Operations with Barangay Tanod Officers Network (PRO-BATON), and the Rotary Club of Pasig to extend aid to barangays in need and offer services to residents.
