Mazda celebrates 20th Anniversary with special edition Mazda6 wagon

Mazda Philippines is celebrating two decades of Zoom-Zoom in the country. As part of that celebration, it is offering the very exclusive Mazda 6 Wagon 20th Anniversary Edition.

This special model, exclusively in Sports Wagon boy style, features special badging on each front fender, a high-gloss front grille, and high-gloss silver 19-inch alloy wheels. It also gets special colors: Artisan Red Premium and Rhodium White Premium.

For 20 years and across three generations, the Mazda6 mid-sized sedan has constantly evolved to embody Mazda’s Zoom-Zoom brand DNA. Through a series of updates, it has matured in tandem with the brand’s journey towards a heightened sense of premium and refinement.

Inside, the Mazda6 showcases the brand’s high level of craftsmanship where a tan color palette accentuates the sophisticated cabin. Luxurious Leganu suede runs through the length of the dashboard, while full-grain Nappa leather seats give the entire cabin a rich, dignified feel. The front seat headrests are also embossed with the 20th anniversary logo.

While the 20th Anniversary Edition Mazda6 only has a few units available, the updated Mazda6 will continue to be available. It comes with updates to the electric power steering provide more tactile feedback at medium and high speeds.

Powering it is the 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G engine. Offering a balance between performance and refinement, it now delivers 190-PS at 6,000 rpm and 252-Nm at 4,000 rpm. The new Mazda6 also has cylinder deactivation for improved fuel efficiency. Depending on engine load, it automatically switches between four- and two-cylinder modes at no cost to performance. 

Mazda’s commitment to offering the highest levels of vehicle safety also applies here. The new Mazda6 comes standard with Mazda Radar Cruise Control, Smart Brake Support, Front and Rear Smart City Brake Support, and Driver Attention Alert. These features are on top of the i-ACTIVSENSE features already previously equipped: Adaptive LED Headlights, Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. This makes it the safest Mazda6 ever.

Inside, the regular Mazda6 will have black Nappa leather seats with front seat ventilation and black Leganu suede interior inserts. It has high levels of appointment as well with a 10-way power driver’s seat with memory, six-way power front passenger’s seat, dual-zone climate control, an 11-speaker Bose sound system, and an electric sunroof. Improved connectivity is delivered through Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wireless charging.

The 2023 Mazda6 range is available exclusively in a Sports Wagon body style, priced at ₱2,100,000. The Mazda6 20th Anniversary Edition is exclusively offered in Artisan Red Premium or Rhodium White Premium, and is priced at ₱2,200,000. Only 40 units of the Mazda6 20th Anniversary Edition will be made available in the Philippines—20 units in Rhodium White Premium and 20 units in Artisan Red Premium.
