Seo In-guk (서인국) launched his singing career after winning in the TV talent show “Superstar K” in 2009.

He starred in the hit drama “Reply 1997” in 2012 and went on to headline projects such as “The King’s Face,” “Shopping King Louie,” “Doom at Your Service” and “Cafe Minamdang.”

Seo In-guk opened the fan meeting by singing the song “My Love,” released in 2022 in the single album “Love&Love.”

“Even at the backstage, I was really excited to hear all your passionate screams but now that I’m on stage, it’s given me big energy,” he told the audience.

He revealed that he is currently filming a drama series called ‘Death’s Game,” based on a Korean webtoon which will be released in December on the video streaming service TVING.

“For the new album, I’m trying to prepare as soon as possible so I can come back as quick,” he said.

Seo In-guk also revealed that he wants to be a director.

“For directing, I want to do it step by step without really an exact time duration. I’m trying to film a short film. For now, I’m trying to focus on the drama I’m filming in Korea and I really want to come back with a new album. That’s what I’m focusing on more,” he said.

He said that when he made his debut in the entertainment world, “I wanted to try specific types of films and specific types of characters but it’s been 14 years since my debut. Since I want to continue my career, I just want to be a singer and actor in the long run and be loved for a long time.”

One of the highlights and surprises of the fan meeting was when Seo In-guk performed the Filipino song “Ikaw” by Yeng Constantino. He also sang “Tease Me,” “I Like You” and “Shake It Up.”

The fan meeting had different segments, showing Seo In-guk’s career milestones and his interaction with fans.

Advice

In the “Cafe Minandang” segment, Seo In-guk was asked by fans and in return, he gave them advice.

One fan told Seo In-guk that she wanted his son’s shoulder to be 55 cm (about 21.65 inches) wide. Among the methods, he advised her to tell his son to do a side lateral raise and “focus on the back workouts but they should have a talent of being born with it.”

Another fan told him that his dramas helped her “all throughout med school. Because of you, now I’m a doctor.” Seo In-guk was impressed with her achievement.

“Thank you for spending your free time on me,” said Seo In-guk.

A fan asked how to keep a young and fresh face like his.

“I really don’t do anything for my face. For real. I really don’t care for my face at all. Eat well. Exercising is very important. Even my mental state is really good when I’m exercising. I watched a lot of cute and adorable stuff on YouTube. And they really energize me.

Seo In-guk made his own “halo-halo” and said, “It’s really delicious.
