A fire razed a home in an exclusive village in Muntinlupa, causing damage to property amounting to P10 million.
According to the Muntinlupa City Fire Station, the fire hit a home on Kentucky Drive in Alabang 400 Village located on West Service Road in Barangay Cupang at about 8:21 p.m. on Aug. 15.

Firefighters raised the first alarm at 8:27 p.m. before the blaze was placed under control at 8:42 p.m. and fire out was ddeclared at 9:10 p.m.
The 250-sq. m. two-storey house is owned by the Reig family. According to the fire authorities, the blaze originated from the kitchen area of the house and spread quickly, damaging P10 million worth of property. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
A total of 15 fire trucks and three ambulances responded to the incident.
