CAMP RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – The Police Regional Office-13 disclosed on Thursday, August 17, that 11 wanted persons were arrested in a one-day operation in the Caraga region.
PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft said the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)-13 collared five individuals, two of whom for violation of Republic Act No. 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004, one for slight physical injuries, and two for violation of city and municipal ordinances.
The Butuan City Police Office nabbed three individuals for violation of city and municipal ordinances based on warrants of arrest issued by the court.
Two were arrested in Surigao del Norte for violation of city and municipal ordinances and one in Surigao del Sur for falsification of public document.
Kraft cited these police accomplishments.
“These notable accomplishments reflect the efforts of our operatives on the ground to bring wanted individuals to justice,” Kraft said, adding, “Caraga cops are keeping substantial strides in the conduct of manhunt operations against those with warrants of arrest.”
