Bulacan cops seize over P500,000 illegal drugs in buy-bust op

A drug buy-bust operation conducted by joint operatives of the Bulacan Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit, and Malolos City Police Station on Wednesday night, Aug. 16, in Brgy. Mojon, City of Malolos, resulted in the arrest of an alleged high-value drug individual in the province of Bulacan.
 

Police identified the arrested suspect as Oliver Paul dela Cruz Mauricio alias "Sampaul," 32, business owner, of Felicisima Village, Brgy. Mojon, City of Malolos.  

Based on the reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, Alias Sampaul transacted with a police poseur buyer and handed over one plastic sachet of shabu in exchange for P5,000 which resulted in the arrest of the suspect.  

Also confiscated from the suspect were four plastic sachets of suspected cocaine weighing 110 grams and with a market value of P598,000 and the P5,000 buy-bust money.

The suspect and the confiscated pieces of evidence were taken to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate examination, while appropriate criminal complaints against the suspect are being prepared for filing in court.
