Six men were arrested by members of the Pasig and Mandaluyong police stations in separate drug busts.
In Pasig, three suspects were arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 15, at around 12:30 a.m. in Barangay Pinagbuhatan.
The suspects were identified by Eastern Police District (EPD) Director Wilson Asueta as Jayson Caisa, 43; Jonnas Santos, 30; and Ferdinand Sampaga, 50.
Pasig operatives confiscated 15.6 grams of suspected shabu worth P106.080.
Meanwhile, three other men were nabbed at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 16 on Shaw Boulevard in Barangay Hagdan Bato, Mandaluyong City.
Asueta identified the suspects as "Jay," 23; "Mario," 32; and "Jayson," 32; all residents of Pasay City.
Mandaluyong police seized some 28.4 grams of alleged shabu worth P193,120, along with a P500 bill, six pieces of a P1,000 bill and a Yamaha motorcycle.
Both Pasig and Mandaluyong police were assisted by operatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in conducting surveillance and gathering intelligence.
The suspects are currently detained in their respective police custodial facilities.
All six are facing charges of illegal sale and possession of drugs.
