Former Gilas Pilipinas mentor Rajko Toroman is coming back to the country, this time as a consultant for College of St. Benilde head coach Charles Tiu.

No stranger to the Philippine brand of play having coached the first generation of Gilas Pilipinas and stints in the PBA as active consultant for Petron and Barako Bull, Toroman is tasked to give Tiu a hand as the Blazers chase for their first title in the NCAA.
CSB came close at ending the 22-year title drought when it reached last season’s finale only to lose to the eventual three-peat champion Letran.
"His wealth of experience and strategic insights will undoubtedly elevate our team's performance. With Coach Rajko's guidance, we are confident in reaching new heights in the world of college basketball," said Blazers team manager Jacob Lao.
"I'm absolutely thrilled; it's coming full circle for me. I've always wanted to work with him again because he's like a father figure to me," said Tiu, who also served as an assistant to Toroman during his stint in the PBA and Gilas.
Toroman coached Gilas from 2009 to 2011 before having stints around the region through the years. His most recent stint was with Indonesia where he handled the national team that beat Gilas in the Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam last year.
Aside from CSB, Toroman is also reportedly making his comeback to the big league as he is also set to join the coaching staff of Aldin Ayon at Converge.
