Water concessionaire Manila Water announced that there will be no water in most parts of a village in Antipolo City and a portion of Cainta in Rizal on Aug. 16 to 17.
In its advisory, Manila Water said the water service interruption will start at 10 p.m. on Aug. 16, Wednesday, until 6 a.m. of Aug. 17, Thursday, due to scheduled leak repair works on Sumulong Highway in Barangay Mambugan in Antipolo City.
Areas to be affected by the water service disruption are the following:
Portions of Barangay Mambugan, Antipolo City and portions of San Isidro in Cainta that covers all subdivisions and commercial establishments along Sumulong Highway from Old Barangay Mambugan Hall to Masinag intersection; all subdivisions and commercial establishments along Gertrudes Street; all subdivisions and commercial establishments inside Villa Cecilia Subdivision; Antipolo City Hospital System; Xentro Mall, Universal Aquarius, Absolute Laundry 7 Dry Cleaners; Mambugan Elementary School; and Meralco Masinag Business Center.
