ILOILO CITY -- University of Negros Occidental - Recoletos (UNO-R) ruled the men's and women's 4x100m relay events with relative ease in the 2023 Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Games at the IloIlo Sports Complex here on Tuesday, Aug. 15.

The male sprinters, composed of John Lloyd Moreno, David Paul Balagat, Christian Sericon, and Romeo Constancio, crossed the line in 47.6 seconds to beat Western Institute of Technology (49.4sec) and St. Anthony's College (49.6sec).
In the distaff side, sisters Angelica and Merly Jane Bacaro, Ciara Largavista, and Jezel Talaver clocked 57.7sec to leave their foes in the dust and win the gold medal with Iloilo Science and Technology University coming in at far second (1:02.9) and
In the 200m finals, Peter Molina of Western Visayas State University topped the men's race in 23.5sec while Piepet Prebillo of Filamer Christian University ruled the women's side in 28.4sec.
