Police seize P828,000 shabu, marijuana

CAMP Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga -- Police captured four suspected drug peddlers, including a high-value individual (HVI), and confiscated approximately P828,000 worth of shabu and marijuana in buy-bust operations in Tarlac and Angeles City.

The HVI identified as Ryan Pineda from Barangay Pampang, Angeles City was apprehended by operatives of the Angeles City Police Station 5 on Friendship Highway, Barangay Cutcut, Angeles City.

Seized from him were four heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing around 60 grams and valued at P408,000.

The other suspects, Jay-R Ibarra, Aries Bautusta, and Jerome Jurado, residents of Tarlac City, were arrested in Barangay San Juan Bautista, Tarlac City.

They yielded four cellophane-sealed bricks and two cellophane-sealed rolls containing suspected dried marijuana leaves weighing 3.5 kilograms with an estimated value of P420,000, a motorcycle, a tricycle, and three android phones.
