SARIAYA, Quezon -- The body of a man believed to be a "salvage" or summary execution victim was found in Sitio Sinturisan, Barangay Manggalang Bantilan, here, on Sunday afternoon, August 13.
Police Major Romar Pacis, Sariaya police chief, said that a resident found the remains floating on a creek with bullet wounds in the head at 1:15 p.m.
The victim was wearing a white T-shirt and gray short pants, 5’5" to 5’6” in height, and about 45- to 50-years-old.
Residents failed to identify the victim.
Sariaya police have coordinated with other police stations in the province for possible identification of the victim, Pacis said.
