K-pop idol group BTS’ leader RM talked about the seven members reuniting in 2025 after completing their military service.

When Big Hit Music announced last year that BTS members would enlist in the military one by one, it said that they were aiming to regroup in 2025.

Jin enlisted on Dec. 13, 2022, becoming the first member of BTS to start his military service. He will be discharged on June 12, 2024.

J-Hope followed on April 18 this year and he will be discharged on Oct. 17, 2024.

Last Aug. 7, Big Hit Music announced “that Suga has initiated the military enlistment process by applying for the termination of his enlistment postponement. We will inform you of further updates in due course.”

During a live broadcast on Weverse on Aug. 12, RM played a song and read a comment about BTS coming back as a whole group in 2025 after completing their military service.

“Suga talked about a lot of stuff what he felt through the 28 shows for the whole year. How many ARMYs [BTS fans’] and how many love is actually waiting for the reunion in 2025,” said RM.

He added, “So you know I definitely feel that. Even though we're doing our solos on our own, I think, what I'm thinking right now is these days when I'm doing my solo projects, this is just a…what is… this is just like a vacation to get back to where I was, which is BTS and ARMY.”

“You know all the solo is just a journey, you know, but it is a very important journey for the chapter 2 but it is the journey to get back, you know, get back home safe, you know, eventually we'll be get back and reunite together in 2025,” he said.

“So thanks for making this song and supporting, and the love. I swear that I never taking this enormous love for granted in my whole life and I will be the same in the future and, you know, I guess, no, I can't bet that all the other members would feel the same,” RM added.

According to him,”So this is a greatness of love we called or love is so everywhere. It was like a cliche, everybody's talking about love, love, love love. But still, when I face with this kind of love, I feel like irresistible and that's what makes me go through all those trials, hardships and sh*** happening in the life and it could be vice versa to all of you guys and everywhere.”

“Thanks for this amazing song. Yeah I’m being emotional right now. I can be emotional too,” he said.
