BTS' RM on his short hair, watching 'D.P.,' next album

K-pop idol group BTS’ RM held a live broadcast on Aug. 12 and discussed different topics including his short hair, dramas and his next album.

When RM performed at BTS’ Suga’s concert “Suga I Agust D D-DAY Tour: The Final” and surprised fans when he sported short hair, resulting in speculations that he was going to enlist in the military soon.

He said he got a haircut not for his military enlistment but because the weather was hot.

On Aug. 12, RM held a live broadcast on Weverse. About his short hair, he said, "Managing a buzz cut is more difficult. If you don't shave it, it becomes awkward. I haven't shaved for about a week now, and it's grown a lot,” Dispatch Dipe reported.

He added, "Since I haven't had this short of hair since our debut, it's been almost 12 years. I've received a lot of compliments that my head shape is nice."

When asked what drama he was watching, RM said he is planning to watch “D.P.” season 2, which stars Jung Hae-in and Koo Kyo-hwan.

“D.P’ focuses on Korea’s military service and a team of deserter pursuit which goes after those who abandon their military posts.

“I have a plan to watch drama, it’s called ‘D.P.’ I watched the whole season and season 2 just came out. I'm just planning because when I watch a drama, I have to like watch the whole season for like just one night,” said RM.

About releasing another song or album, RM said, “I’m planning to but, you know, Taehyung’s project is just being released and maybe mine, my turn would be like far next. I mean not next but far away…like there. I’m just so working.”
