ILOILO CITY – Police seized suspected shabu worth P1.22 million from four drug pushers in Jaro District, this city, on August 12.
The Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) identified the suspects as 50-year-old Eriberto Atadero Jr., 45-year-old Jo Annalyn dela Cruz, 23-year-old John Kennard Dejeron, and 22-year-old Jalin Lim.
Suspects were nabbed after they sold shabu to an undercover policeman. A total of 180 grams of shabu were seized from the suspects.
Four units of the ICPO – City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), Special Weapon and Tactics (SWAT), Drug Enforcement Team of the City Proper Police Station, and the Drug Enforcement Team of the Jaro Police Station – were mobilized as the suspects were considered as high-value individuals.
They face charges for violating Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 lauded the arrest of the suspects.
Police Brig. Gen. Sidney Villaflor, PRO-6 director, said this is another dent in the shabu supply chain in the regional capital.
