The province of Bohol now has its fourth Alagang Tingog Center (ATC), thanks to the collaboration of the offices of House Speaker Martin Romualdez and Tingog Party-list.

Inaugurated last Friday, Aug. 11, was the ATC in Tagbilaran, the lone city in Bohol.

The brainchild of Tingog Party-list Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez, the ATC is a social service-slash-public outreach center. The Tagbilaran ATC was established with the help of the Office of the Presidential Assistance in Visayas.

Carried out along with the inauguration was the distribution of financial aid to some 1,000 marginalized local folk. They each received P5,000 in cash.

Office of the Presidential Assistance for the Visayas Undersecretary Terence Calatrava, Governor Aris Aumentado, Bohol 1st district Rep. Edgar Chatto, Mayor Jane Yap, and other local officials were present at the event.

Chatto thanked Tingog for extending its support through the establishment of ATCs and provision of cash assistance to the whole province of Bohol particularly in Ubay, Sierra Bullones, Balilihan, and ultimately, Tagbilaran City.

"Today we are very fortunate that we were visisted and will continue to be visited," Chatto said, adding that he has witnessed first hand Tingog's "consistent service to Filipinos".

Rep. Romualdez, wife of Speaker Romualdez, extended her heartfelt gratitude to the party-list's partners in the 1st district of Bohol, specifically acknowledging Chatto and city officials for their invaluable contributions.

She emphasized that Tingog Party-list is not just a political entity but a working force with a clear purpose of serving the community.

"Tingog Party-list will be happy to help you and I will visit Bohol often," Rep. Romualdez assured the Boholanos.
