Leni graces 50th anniversary celebration of IBP-Iloilo chapter

ILOILO CITY – Former Vice President Leni Robredo visited this city on Friday, August 11, as guest speaker of the 50th anniversary of the Iloilo chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP).

Robredo thanked the people for giving her a warm welcome at the University of the Philippines (UP)-Visayas auditorium.

“Ibang klase talagang magpalangga ang mga Ilonggo. Madamo gid nga salamat for your unwavering love and support! (The love of the Ilonggos is very different. Thank you for your unwavering support),” said Roberdo in her official Facebook page.

Iloilo Provincial Board Member Jason Gonzales organized Robredo’s visit.

Aside from supporters, volunteers for Angat Buhay, the non-government organization (NGO) of Robredo, were also present.

The volunteer-based Angat Buhay has feeding programs in this city and province of Iloilo.
