Fisher mauled to death by half-brod in Quezon

LOPEZ, Quezon – A 58-year-old fisherman died after he was mauled to death with a stone by his half-brother in Barangay Matinik, here, on Friday night, August 11.

Police identified the victim as Armin Bulilan.

Investigation said the victim and the suspect, Manny Cero, also a resident of Barangay Matinik, had a heated argument during the wake of their uncle.

Bulilan decided to go home but Cero followed and repeatedly struck him with a stone in different parts of the body, causing his death.

Police recovered the blood-stained stone used in the killing.

Cero fled and is now the subject of a police manhunt.
