Claudine Barretto made a rare public appearance recently, granting Karen Davila an interview for her vlog.

She is looking good.

She is trim, radiant.

Claudine revealed she lost 84 pounds in just two months through intermittent fasting.

Now she is down to a hundred pounds, the same weight she had at the height of her fame.

One may think the 44-year-old has finally come to terms with her ghosts but, no.

According to Claudine she is still trying to recover so much of her old self.

She is battling post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

But her biggest worry nowadays is her estranged husband, actor Raymart Santiago, whom she claims is trying to get custody of their kids.

It is confusing for her, relating how she is doing all she can to be the best mother to their children.

I don’t understand why he is trying to get custody of my children up to now,” she related. “He could see the kids any time...”

Claudine thought everything was okay with her and Raymart already.

After all, they’ve been communicating openly.

“But I don’t know, for some reason, he started being not a good father again. He was trying before e,” she said.

There’s also the matter of money.

“We all know what happened sa amin ni Raymart—that he withdrew all the money and financially, I was really, really struggling. ‘Yun ‘yung nilalaban ko ngayon ulit, to get back my money. Pinaghirapan (ko ‘yun) since I was 13 years old,” she said.

Despite the apparent difficulties, Claudine is trying to appear tough if only for her children.

“I have to show my children that I’m strong,” she said.

So how does she cope?

“Through prayers,” Claudine answered.

The biggest lesson she learned being married to Raymart?

Well, she’s still “processing” it.

“I’m still learning, it is a process, it’s been going on for years...so much pain and betrayal...”

Is she still open to the idea of marriage?

“I don’t wanna marry anymore. I’d rather focus on my kids and bring them up well...”

But she was quick to add, “’Pag may dumating siguro bonus na lang ‘yun.”
