BTS V's 'Rainy Days' tops iTunes in 70 countries

K-pop group BTS member V’s pre-release songs from his first solo album “Layover” topped the iTunes chart.

“Rainy Days” and “Love Me Again” were released on Aug. 11 ahead of the release of “Layover” on Sept. 8.

“Rainy Days” grabbed the No. 1 spot on iTunes’ Top Songs chart in 70 countries and regions including the US, UK, Japan, Germany, France and the Philippines as of 9 a.m. KST on Aug. 12.

The “Rainy Days” music video has garnered 9.6 million views in 23 hours on YouTube as of this writing.

In addition, “Love Me Again” topped the iTunes’ Top Songs chart in 35 countries and regions including Austria, Bulgaria and Romania.

The music video for “Love Me Again” has garnered 25 million views as of this writing.
